What about broth from the supermarket? Can’t I just use that?

The broth you see at the supermarket is not the same as our bone broth. It’s all in the technique. Supermarket broth or stock is prepared at super high temperatures that deplete gelatin and strip the mineral content of the product. Throw in a few preservatives and flavours and there you have it - nutritionally deprived, sodium enhanced water labelled as broth on the supermarket shelves. Bone broth must be prepared correctly in order for it to be a healing food.
